Acceptance
By accessing or using the PIE Partner Portal you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.
The service
PIE (Purpose In Expenses) provides a partner portal through which businesses can procure services and hardware, track charitable donations made by PIE on their behalf, and manage their account. PIE donates 50% of its own margin to the nonprofit you select. That gift comes from PIE, never as a charge to you.
Community recognition
To build awareness of the impact PIE's partners create, PIE may display your business name and logo on PIE's websites and materials, including nonprofit pages, supporter walls, and PIE Certified listings. PIE will not publish dollar amounts attributed to your business unless you have approved a published case study. If you would prefer not to be displayed, contact us at hello@purposeinexpenses.com and we will discuss your options.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@purposeinexpenses.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
You may use the portal only for lawful business purposes. You may not attempt to access data that does not belong to your account, reverse-engineer the portal, or use it in any way that could harm PIE or other partners.
Intellectual property
The PIE portal and its content are owned by Purpose In Expenses. You retain ownership of data you upload. You grant PIE a limited license to use that data, and your business name and logo, to deliver the service and as described in Community recognition.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PIE is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the portal. Our total liability for any claim is limited to fees paid by you in the prior 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the portal after changes constitutes acceptance.

- Names the company you agree with in full: its legal name, that it is an Oregon limited liability company, and its principal place of business. Nothing else changed.

- How PIE's gift works: a share of PIE's own margin, which can differ by agreement and is sent once a year.
